John Stevens Cabot Abbott

JOHN STEVENS CABOT ABBOTT (1805-1877) was born in Maine. He was the brother of Jacob Abbott and Gorham Abbott, both Christian writers. He went to Bowdoin College in 1825 and attended Andover Theological Seminary. He worked as a pastor and wrote history, biography and Christian ethics books.
