Charlotte H. Cherry

Charlotte H. Cherry was born in 1811 as Charlotte Huntington Lathrop. She later married The Rev. Henry Cherry and together were missionaries to India in the spring of 1837. She was the sister of Harriet Lathrop (1796-1833) who became Mrs. Harriet L. Winslow, also a missionary to India. (She had two other sisters who were missionaries to India as well) She had a short life and died of consumption Nov. 4, 1837 at 26 years old. The Rev. Henry Cherry kept on as a missionary in India until 1849.
