Prosser, Sophia Amelia

Sophia Amelia Dibdin (1807-1882) was born in Islington, England. She grew up in performing arts family. Her father, Charles Isaac Mungo Dibdin was a theatre owner. Her mother, Mary Bates was an actor. Her grandfather, Charles Dibdin the elder was a celebrated writer. She married William Prosser, a surgeon and later a pastor.
